Well its that time of the year, who do ya got? Even though i think they got screwed im still taking Lousiville in the midwest.. Being in a brackett with Duke and Michigan state while being the overall number 1 team was hardly any favor for the Cards but i think they will get it done this year, Ive always like pitino and got to meet him earlier this year at a tampa pro am tournament he was a nice guy to me so i have a spot in my heart to root for him as well. The Midwest brackett will make or break your picks if you are doing an office pool besides the 3 big boys i have mizz, oregon and cincy all underdogs winning in the first round. Gonzaga got a 1 seed to me they are kinda how boise state is to college football they dont play anybody i expect them to lose to either K state or wisconsin in the sweet 16. My final for has Louisville vs New Mexico and on the other side Florida vs Indiana with Louisville beating Indiana to take it all.. I try to pick some underdogs to make it deep like florida and new mexico , most people will be taking the 1 or 2 seeds which i dont blame them but if one of those hits for me it should seperate me from the cluster of entries.
I hope i did this right , dont be shy lets see who can win the Epicski pickem challenge, maybe a mod will throw in a lift ticket to your favorite resort as i have nothing to offer you but bragging rights, fill em out only took me literally 3minutes to make my picks.
Indeed crazier things have i just cant trust the zags enough to pick them to go all the way to the final four because of the schedule they play, but u play who is on the schedule so i cant fault them for being a 1 seed
I've watched a grand total of 0 basketball games this year, but I filled one out for kicks. I have the Hoosiers going all the way and the sleeper pick of the Bucknell Bison making the Sweet 16. What can I say, I'm a homer for the local team.
I have never watched a basketball game in my life, but I fill one in every year. Filled in my office pool this afternoon. I actually won the office pool last year as well -- for guessing at random!
uggg im pissed now i had new mexico going to the final four as my sleeper pick and they get ousted by a bunch of lawyers and engineers uggggggg thats what i get for trusting a team that ive never seen play til tonite.
Note to self: do not discuss the Zags with Nolo during the Big Sky Gathering. Good to know.
Or, more precisely, do not discuss which round I have the Zags exiting with Nolo...
I had Davidson as a Cinderella 16. Not too good here 10 of 16 correct so far. I see Which St beat Pitt. I would have licked WS if I had remembered they are called The Shockers! Anyway, lots of ballin left.. I'm just glad steve got this thread going. I think the past two years Nolo and I were the only ones to talk NCAA Dance around here.
so i just looked up everyones bracket we can see them now, new mexico and unlv really screwed me as i had unlv upsetting CUse and going to sweet 16, were all bunched up though within a few points of eachother, basically it seems whoever has the champion or championship game correct will probably have the most points

Don't feel too bad, almost everyone had the Harvard game wrong (I actually had that one right but didn't see the Pitt loss coming). This is another year where the #1 seeds may not make it all the way, since one bad shooting night could easily bounce any team out of the tourney. The team that can put together 5 wins gets the trophy, and this year there are probably 15-18 teams capable of doing that. The others (like Big Sky champ Montana that was completely embarrassed by Syracuse) are gone, or will be gone soon enough. The Big East is blowing up with many or the original teams going elsewhere, and I'm thinking the teams will go out with a bang with two reaching the Final Four. Father Jenkins of Notre Dame is the reason the Big East is breaking up, after he tried to negatively influence a $billion ESPN deal while the Irish football remained independent. Well, the great rivalries are now a thing of the past. Now Syracuse, Pitt, Notre Dame (surprise, surprise) and likely Louisville will play basketball as members of the ACC where they will give Duke needed competition, because all of the new teams are tough.. It won't be the same. The refs call too many fouls in the ACC. The Big East, except for Butler, is now comprised of all Catholic schools. To me, that isn't a match "made in Heaven."
check out this guys bracket, cmon now 1 wrong how do people make these crazy picks http://tournament.fantasysports.yahoo.com/t1/661533
Took a terrible first round beating, but my final four are all still alive

When the Zags are out, I am out. I became a fan when my daughter blew her knee out playing JC bball in Spokane at a Thanksgiving tournament. While waiting in the ER the Maui Invitational happened to be on TV and when I saw Adam Morrison light up Michigan State that was it for me. Been a rabid fan ever since.
Hope your teams win!
