Volkl Bridge thin bases?

I'm hoping to get some answers here. I own the Volkl Bridge 2011 version (first rockered version) and have had a ton of problems due to the thin bases. Did Volkl change this up in the 2012 and 2013 versions? The ski is amazing and the near perfect all mountain ski for me but I won't buy another pair unless they have increased the base (ptex) thickness.

I am hesitant about the same issue. I have a friend who has the old non-rockered bridge and he had major scratches on the bases.

I am looking for an all around ski. all mountain and park and this ski seems like a good choice but I am actually concerned about the bases.
My other option is the k2 recoil. I had the 2012 and they were phenomenal and the bases were super resistant. And it is more bi-directional without compromising the skiing which I like.

If someone can help me out it would be greatly appreciated.
