Dawg, I also noticed that my reactions to the Bonafide, Rock n Roll, Cham 97, and Soul 7 generally corresponded to what you wrote in your reviews:
Cham 97: http://www.epicski.com/t/112120/2013-dynastar-cham-97#post_1516141 ["Cham 97 was much more soft snow oriented, pintail wasn't for me in mixed conditions, especially bumps. Skied short and stiff."]
Soul 7: http://www.epicski.com/t/124291/playful-wider-all-mountain-ski-shootout-rossignol-soul-7-vs-blizzard-peacemaker#post_1662843 ["Despite being wide, the tip is soft and easy to press into a trough. The tail is not aggressive. It may be the best wide ski for bumps around."]
Given this, it seems I should try the SR95 and FX94, which appear to be two of your favorites for mixed conditions. From what I've read the 176 FX94 and the 174 SR95 should be long enough for me (you were on those lengths and thought they were fine) (though I wonder if I'd find them a bit short and stiff for moguls). I can easily demo the SR95 from Footloose at Mammoth; however, they decided not to offer demos of the FX series, and there's no other Kastle dealer that has demos close to where I ski. However, your observation that the FX94 is very much like the MX88 gives me pause since, as I mentioned above, I have reservations about the MX88's flex pattern.
