Canting on Fisher Vacuum Ranger and Hybrid

There have been a lot of comments about the Fischer Vacuums but most of these have been about the RC4.

I have just returned a pair of Fischer Ranger Vacuum 12s and had my money back because after 3 moldings it could not provide enough room for my toes, the canting was rubbish, and the flex is never a true 120.

The problem with the toes might have been fixed with a suitable punch but the boot fitter wouldn't do that because it went against the Fischer Pass Fit Concept!

I don't see how the Ranger or the Hybrid can ever cope with more extreme canting because the back has to remain straight for the walk/freeride mode to work.

As for the flex ... I think it is closer to 105-110 ... if the toes and canting had been OK this would not have been a deal breaker.

The boot fitter told me that he had sold 70 pairs of these boots without problems. Am I unique, or has anyone else had similar problems?

I've seen many problems with the Fischer boot line but also have several customers that absolutely love theirs.  I think it is like all things boots, fits some doesn't fit others and a lot depends on who is doing the fitting.
