I'm thinking of buying used 2102 Lange RS 130 boots (on this forum), and I just wanted to ask if they are too much for all-mountain / big-mountain stuff. I am an advanced skier who will spend most of his time in the steep technical stuff, trees, and deep stuff. How different is the RS from the RX? I tried on a RX 130 LV (97) the other day, and it fit really well. I know the RS is 97 as well. Are they very different boots, even at 97 for the width? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.
Lange RS 130 too hard for the soft days?

The labels applied to boots, skis and nearly everything are put there by marketing types who think we dumb consumers are to stupid to understnad for rselves nd mst be led to the watering trough. If that doesn't apply to you then you can use any boot in any manner you see fit. Differences between race and big mountain versions of the same boot are typically the use of a softer zeppa in the big mountain version and of course the different colours that make one turnyer and the other faster.
