Demo Day at Sugarbush

Thread Starter
Saturday December 14th was Demo Day at Sugarbush. I was able to demo five models plus sprinkle in a few runs on my own Rossignol Bandit XX's. The conditions were horrid - lousy for having fun, but not so bad for testing skis in less than ideal conditions. The snow was that "wet snowball" stuff, the mist turned to outright rain, and the top half of the mountain was fogged in. The test would have been just as useful without the impaired visibility, though. Some discoveries were made - which is good.

When I came home, I looked at Ski Presse magazine to compare my impressions with those in the magazine. In every way, their reports reflected my own experiences, so I'm a fan of Ski Presse tests.

I'll post individual reports on each model I tried, plus an updated report on the XX, at a later time. Two of the five model I had demoed previously. The skis demoed were:

Rossignol RPM 21

K2 Axis XP

K2 Axis XR

Dynastar Intuitiv 71

Volkl T50 Supersport four star

great list to demo oboe & pretty awsome to be able to do it in one day, wish I could catch a demo day but they usually don't have any when I get to go end of jan first week of feb just whatever the local shops have for high priced rentals.

I will be eagerly awaiting your reviews particularly on the Volkl, and the Intuitive 71, which I demoed last week and liked a lot. :
