Any ideas on where a good tech conference would be with decent skiing .

I am trying to so my mandatory training as a software developer near some decent skiing .

Looking at lanyrd.com for conferences near Vancouver utah or Colorado currently.

Would be cool if I can find something web development or user experience related near some decent skiing

I'd think Denver or Seattle would have things like that regularly.

Tahoe's drivable from the SF Bay Area.

There was a computational neuroscience conference at the Cliff Lodge for a week at Snowbird when I was there from March 1st-8th this year. I know it's not a tech conference, but I bet there have been things like that there in the past. You could try the big cities too, such as Seattle, Denver, Portland, or San Fran.

More like four hours from Seattle to Whistler.  Think it's about two to Vancouver, but then it's still a long ways to the mountains.

There are also ski areas like Baker and Crystal in Washington State itself.

Keystone hosts various conferences.  You might contact them and see what's coming up.  There is decent skiing nearby, even if Keystone itself is closed (after mid-April).  Loveland usually stays open until early May and A-Basin until early June, snow permitting.

If you start looking for training courses in addition to conferences, it will be easier.

Here is one in Vancouver next week:
