Superfeet heels too wide?

My wife had Superfeet green in her one-size-too-big Lange RX80s. We exchanged them for one size smaller Langes but the Superfeet seem to spread the liners' heel portion as they are wider than the factory insoles in this size boot. Can we still use them or are custom insoles in order? I hope it's not the latter from a $$$ POV.

if the footbed is pushing the liner out too much and making it hard to get in the shell then you may need to change it, difficult to say without seeing it, but most footbeds are wider than the stock insole supplied in the langes, if you need a new footbed but don't want to spend on a full custom product then it may be worth looking at berry or hot pink superfeet products, both on a slightly narrower heel fit than the green (they are the ladies version of the orange and red hot respectively)

Thanks. I can get the liner back in the shell fine but you can see it makes the liner stick out wider at the base. Thanks for the scoop on the other SF colors, we'll check them out.

Dave, I think that would take away too much of the heel cup.

there is a limit to what you can take away (not much basically) it might help but a narrower heel cup will most certainly be better
