Heat formed ski boots in the hot gear bag?

Greetings Boot Guys,

I've been mulling with the idea of one of the heat formed boots (Salomon XMax or Fischer Vacuum) using a hot gear bag and I was wondering if these two items are incompatible? I know the temps the boots are fitted with are higher but I was thinking the two might no be a good idea together. Does anyone have any first hand experience? I'd hate to drop big money on a boot only to have my hot gear bag undo or change the fit.   Thanks!

Hot Gear has an insert that you should use if you are going to put heat moldable shells in the bag.

Start Haus has some in stock.
