What level skier are you and how did you determine that level?
Feel free to search the forum, there are tons of thread on this, even one yesterday.

Edited to add that it really has no meaning other than deciding which class to put you into, skiing isn't like a video game.

Although that would be funny, to see randomly someone on the hill glow in a shower of sparkly color accompanied by ominous "level UP!" announcement.

I'm a level 15 gaper.  I determined that because 15 was the first number that came to mind.

Just ski and don't worry about self classification, unless you're signing up for lessons.  In that case, you need to refer to the resort's own classification system (which should include details), because they can vary quite a bit.

So binding manufactures ask skill level weight height to set Din settings. So how do you answer skill level? I suck in the park kill it in the trees carve like I'm on rails so intermediate? Have an hour long conversation with some dude in the Shop describing your anxiety on the last cliff section you ran to decide SKILL level for your your din ?

It's not so much of a skill level but risk acceptance level. How much risk are you willing to accept having your legs twisted into a pretzel if you fall, vs releasing when you aren't expecting it and sliding into (insert your preferred object).

Just gunna say if your having that conversation you either chose something way beyond your skill level or your probably setting your own DIN...

thought I was a 7 until a youg guy blew by my son and I above High Rustle at Alta like he was racing super G in the powder thru the trees !! Now Im a 2 again......

My level used to be crazy, but I got better.

For buying skis, I put down  "Expert"; I prefer expert skis or race skis.

For setting, it's DIN  III+,  III would likely work most of the time, but I might forget to reset it when I have a relapse and ski like like I used to (high speed through rough terrain with turn or die (at that speed) runs/lines;.   With the new bindings that allow the ski to Flex without changing the length between toe and heel pieces, I don't need to go higher than that.

For taking lessons, I take a private and say I haven't got a clue.

For general purposes, I can carve very well, and I suck at moguls, but I'll bet you a beer I can beat you to the chair from the peak.

I'm a Jedi Master Level 19. I use The Force (gravity) to get down the mountain.
I'm about half a bubble off level. Determined by gravity and people that know me.

I can get past the first gondola sniper in Aggressive Alpine Skiing, but I still have trouble getting over the cabin.  Do you suppose rockered skis would help?

I'm a Shredi and I use the Farce!

Ohhh we were supposed to post a numerical level?..

I heard it's equal to the number of skis in your quiver? So im a level 10. I guess that means I already am a pro...

I just spent like 15 mins trying to play that. That game is really hard. Your obviously an expert

Heh, I got through the first sniper and cabin then lost patience. Always hated mechanics on these games, it's like bombing down the hill with only 10 meter visibility.

Why hate on the Kjus, other than every rich snob is now wearing it ?

If it wasn't so fashionable or expensive, it really is awesome gear, just to bad every 60 year old or Bay Area snob is wearing it.

I try not to ski level, you don't go very fast.  I just eyeball it most of the time but I do have a free app that is a level if I need it.

A+/Level 10 for having fun!

I don't really know what level I am. What I do know is that I am not as good today as I thought I was five years ago. So how bad will I be five years from now?
