FS: 2009 Dynastar Course GS Skis 186 w/ PX18 Race Bindings

They're in great shape, and have been pretty lightly used. I can send more details and pictures to anyone that's interested.

I'm looking for $200, but if that's unreasonable let me know.

Hey benji7, what's the boot sole length it's mounted for?

thanks,

They are set up for a 300 mm bsl, but the bindings are on a race plate with pre-drilled holes, so it's really easy to shift them around for different boots.

Benji7, thanks for the pm and post above (same info); makes sense, it hadn't clicked that they'd be on a plate.

Dynastar's model names have me confused - are these race room skis or cheaters?  And more to the point, even if they are race stock, how would they be for freeskiing for a big guy (6'5", 215) who's a decent skier?  Basically looking for a hard snow ripper for high speed but not in actual gates.

It's hard to find much info about them online, but they have a 27m radius which I think was the FIS standard when these were made. That said, they are pretty manageable to ski on if you're a strong skier. I bought these for skiing fast at the resort, and they are fantastic for ripping down the slopes at stupid speeds, but will definitely take more work than your average groomer ski. Other people might have more info or ideas about them.

I have the shorter length 176 (23m) and love them I'm 6' and 170lbs and would not hesitate skiing them.  The only reason I got the shorter length that was all that they had available for an incredible price.

These skis will definitely prove your worth as a skier, as you do have to ski correctly all the time which they will reward.  Brain drain is punished though.

I have a pair of these too! They are part of my "collection" and not for sale. Even though I did not ski them last year.

They are up there with "Great" skis..that is for sure. One of the very best skis I have ever been on that would do "old school"..skidded turns..just not at all hooky or grabby..AND would run in a straight line with no input..or tendency to want to turn.I was mesmerized that a ski this short..186..compared to the old long straight skis could be that stable.Just no speed limit on these bad boys. This is a ski that one could go from a straight ski to this and just shake one's head as to why one would ever ski a straight ski again.

About the only time I found them difficult is when they were loaded hard improperly(old schooling) and they re-bounded.lol..they had LOTS! of spring in the tail haha.

I found they were ok with being bent SOMEWHAT to below their radius..and would go in and out of carve pretty easily.Just  a great ski for a bit of carving and skidding.

I am 5'10 and 210lbs.YRMV.

Great skis..good luck with your sale!

There's storage wax on the bases, so they don't photograph well, but there aren't any gouges or core shots that I can see.
