Help: ski advise new to buying

Hi
I actually joined cuz I have a few questions about skis. I am an intermediate skier. I ski all blues and a few blacks depending on mountain. I recently got back into skiing and am trying to go much more often than the 2-3 a season. I have always rented skis but that is getting costly as now my son is going as well.

I am looking for advise on a good ski for me as I have no idea where to begin haha. I am 6'2" 250lbs size 12 boot at the mountain. I am from Massachusetts so most of my skiing is in New Hampshire and in my experience has been mostly groomed packed powder to ice.

I was looking to find a good used ski that would suit my style and conditions. I didn't know if someone would be able to give me a few models to look for. Thank you

Welcome to EpicSki!  Have you looked around at the EpicSki articles for first time buyers?  Click on Articles on the menu bar.  Helps to know an example of where you ski.  As you know, a black at one mountain can be quite different from a black at another that is much bigger or smaller.

I apologize I thought I mentioned that. I typically ski in NH. Loon, Cannon going to Pats Peak tomorrow and Okemo in Vermont on the 23rd. I believe I may be leaning more torwards Cannon next year. But we'll see what happens. I'm not a big bumps fan but probably cuz I have no idea how to ski them haha. I've done a couple blacks on loon and Tenney when it was open but not at Cannon. Lack of confidence I think. Prob a good thing haha
