2011 dalbello krypton rampage ID liners?

I was at the sporting goods store and came across the boots on the clearance table in my size for $179.  I walked around the store in them for around an hour and decided to buy them even though I didn't have them fitted by a pro.

So my question is do I need to do something special to the liners?

Did you do a shell fit to determine if they are the right size?

I did pull the liner out . I used the stores dalbello foot scale, my feet measured just over 27 mondo and they are the same size as my other boots. I figured for the price would give them a try and thy said I could return them if they weren't beat up.

I'm heading to Bozeman and big sky on Friday is there someone/place I should talk to there?

Bob Ward and Sons is the only Dalbello dealer and they should have the heater.  Have them do a proper shell fit while you're at it.

I was walking around Bozeman while my wife was in a meeting on friday and I stumbled into Chalet sports. I noticed they were a Dalbello dealer so I asked about cooking my liners.

The boot fitter there told me to grab the boots and he would check them out for me. He thought they were a touch to big and had me try on 4 different boots.

After trying out a couple Lange boots(rx120 and Rt110), the Solomon xmax120 and the Dalbello KR2 core in a size smaller he said that he didn't like they fit and wasn't going to try to sell me something that didn't fit better than what I brought in.

So I had him set me up with some good foot beds and he molded my liners, skied in them today and think I'm going to be happy with my bargain boots.

I also don't think I'll risk buying boots without being fitted again as I felt very bad about wasting the fitters time with me only buying the foot beds and the cost of molding the liners with him, but I will defiantly give them my future business.
