First let me say that I don't know anything about tuning. I have a shop do all my work. I recently demoed some Elan Amphibios. My question is, "Is there any concern with a stonegrinder ruining the side-to-side rocker of this ski?" I really enjoyed the ski, but am afraid of purchasing it if there is a chance that a tech might not know to take this type of rocker into account when tuning the ski. Thanks for any input.
Elan Amphimio- any tuning issues?

I asked the same question to Elan. They said no.
I asked the same question to the shop I had give the intitial grind. They were well versed on the Amphibio and had demo'd it. Same answer; no issues.
I don't know why but believe it is because in the grinder, the ski is pressured.
When I tune at home, again, no issues.
Love the ski too.
