UPDATE: I went with the Atomic Theory in 186cm

A few of you may have been following my previous two threads about getting back into skiing after a rather long hiatus.

Well, just wanted to update those who responded with what I ended up with.

I got to the ski shop about three minutes after it opened. I had decided to grab a pair of Rossignol S3s and a pair of Atomic Theorys (both in 186cm) and hang onto them while I shopped for other things like boots and bindings, etc. Well, the shop had sold the last two pair of 186cm S3s the night before, making my decision easy. I now am going to be making my return to skiing on the Atomic Theory. I picked up some Tyrolia Peak 12 bindings and Tecnica Cochise 110 boots, as well. Also manged to score my wife a set of Atomic Elysian skis, Atomic FFG 12 bindings and Tecnica Phoenix Max 12 Air boots.

I added in a ski jacket each, goggles, poles and gloves and headed to the cash register (with help!). We are just about set to start skiing!

Now, I am already thinking about my next set of skis. I'm going to focus my initial research on powder/all-mountain skis in the 110 - 120 width range. The early frontrunners are the Blizzard Gunsmoke, Salomon Rocker2 115, Rossignol S7 and Armada JJ.

It appears I'm bitten by the bug once again!
