Which is more of a "beginner" ski, and why?

I bought use rental skis last week and got to try them yesterday. Widths are 107 69 96, and radius is 13. I was comparing them to the skis I've been renting, which unfortunately don't have the dimensions on them, but they're about 1cm wider on both ends, same in the middle, and radius is 10, which sounds really small. Both of these skis are 150 in length.

Are there big differences between these skis? will the wider (smaller radius) ones float on snow better?

Its going to be hard to determine without knowing the models you are talking about.

A ski's behavior cant always be compared based solely on the specs.

They're both Head, mine are Alien, the newer rentals are BYS. That's at least what's written on the skis.

They're both rental skis and they're both made by Head.  There is no significant difference between them.  Just ski them and don't try to overthink it.

I had a feeling someone would say something like that, since they're so similar.

Thanks!
