Thanks for the link to evergreen... I wonder if Dave, the co-owner was the guy who started at Cortina (Hakuba' not Italy) around 12-15 years ago. My, how things have changed. The only foreigners I ever saw beyond a ski area boundary were literally a handful of ex pats. We all knew or knew of each other. smile.gif there were only 2 Aussies in Niseko, big Ross and little Ross, a couple of Canadians in Hakuba, a woman who worked for Salomon Japan, Bill in Myoko, and and a couple of us from Kanazawa.
