Man, try as I might to find something that works as well as the E98, I just haven't. (Silly Nordica and axing the Enforcer....) Good luck on trying to weed them out of your quiver TPJ! Also keeping an eye out for some WC SL skis... maybe next season.
Good thoughts on the Sickle as well.
I really liked the E98 last season. This season one of my goals was to work on my short turn. The E88 is way better at short turns and still rips the long turn pretty well. Not as well as the the E98 of course, but the E88 is more versitle across more terrain and conditions than the E98 and a better teaching ski. I haven't used my E98s once this year, they are sitting by my front door all tuned and ready to go, It's kind of sad really. I skied on my friends E98s for half an afternoon this season when we switched skis so he could try the E88. The Heads are my first ever slalom ski and have really helped me with my short dynamic carved turn. With a true world cup race room construction, a massive riser plate, and a 13m turn radius even I can carve every turn and they don't have a speed limit. Too much fun.
I've gotten better with my one footed skiing to the point where I can one foot the S7 pretty well. The Heads at 65.5mm under foot are stupid easy on one foot.
