new ski

i've been skiing volkl ac50's for a few seasons now. i ski in the northeast where most of my time is spent on hard pack and occasionally in the bumps and woods. i can ski the volkls really great when my legs are fresh, really fast and aggressive turns.  i do find the ski to be a bit heavy and unforgiving when i get lazy. bottom line is i'm looking for something a little lighter and a little quicker in the turns. any suggestions on models i should demo. i'm interested in all mountain and frontside carving models. thanks

Welcome to EpicSki. I highly recommend you demo some skis to see what fits you best. You should try the Volkl 84 RTM, easy to turn and will handle the trees and bumps just fine. Another possibility is the Salomon Rocker2 90, again easy to turn and will be good in the trees and bumps. They are very different skis, the Volkl being full rocker and the Solly with some camber, but I think these might be a good place to start.
