I guess after having the same pair of Nordica ski boots for the past 16 years, it is sadly time to retire them. On my last trip to Crystal Mountain, Washington, I had to duct tape the liner bottom to the sides so that I could re-insert them into the boots! They have been so comfortable for the last 16 years, that I've been holding out on buying a new pair, but I guess now's the time. I've been looking around online at the ladies Nordica boots, and the ones I sort of like are the Fire Arrow F4's. I have to drive quite a ways to get to a store that even sells ski boots, so before I go, I have a few questions:
1. Is there any way to tell what size my current boots are? The stickers has been long gone.
2. Is there any way to tell what "last" (width) my current boots are? They have been so comfortable.
3. Is there any way to tell what the FLEX is on my current boots?
I just noticed that the Fire Arrow F4's only have 3 buckles. I would think that 4 buckles would give you more support, but these boots are rated as "expert" boots.
Thanks for any help you can give me. I know that just because boots feel fine in the store doesn't necessarily mean they'll feel fine when you wear them for 8 hours on a ski hill!
