Another Ski length question Head Rev 85

I'm currently skiing on 2008 Line Prophet 90 in 186cm. I'm 6"2 and weight 230 pounds.

I love doing high speed run, carving GS turns, but also like slower runs with short turns in crud snow. My Prophet90 are great for charging fast down the mountain, can't find the speed limit on them but they are not easy to turn at slow speed.

I would like to get Head Rev 85 pro but I'm not sure which size to get. I'm looking at 177cm or 184cm. With my weight and height, I'm leaning towards the 184cm.

I fear that 177cm won't be stable enough at high speed but ski shops tell me to get 177cm.

Anyone have a recommendation for me ?

I skied the Rev 85 for an afternoon in a 177 and I'm 6 ft. 170 lbs. The Rev isn't a stiff burly ski I'd say the 184 Rev would be fine especially since you're skiing a similar lenght ski now. If you don't covet the shorter turning radius and are skiing fast I think the longer length is your better choice. Just my 2 cents

Thanks, I bought the 184. Tried them today in 7 inches fresh snow.

I'm impressed, these ski float much better than my Prophet 90. Must be the Early rise (rocker) on the Rev85, makes a good difference in powder snow.
