Planning to go to Killington Very Soon - Weather?

Well it's Sunday and I still haven't booked a mid-week solo mission to Killington that I've been planning for a few weeks.  I plan to get there on Tues and Ski Wed, Thurs, and Fri.

I'm a little hesitant though because of the weather.  VT is gonna be stuck in a system that will bring damp weather mid-week through the end of the week.  Temps will be around 36-38 degrees.  Wed has a 70% chance of  precipitation but all of the forecasts are  saying it could turn to rain in the afternoon.  Thurs looks the same except a lesser chance of rain and may some light snow.  Fri the same with no precipitation.

Killington is about 5 hrs from me and I don't want to lose even an afternoon of skiing to weather.

For those familiar with the Killington area and weather, am I being too hesitant?  Will rain be mostly in the valleys and the mountains will be fine?  Or is the weather too unsettled to chance it?

I don't have a crystal ball so can't say whether it will rain or snow if anything at all. I can say that I've been to K numerous times where it was raining in the valley but all snow on the mountain. If you listen to the weather man you'll miss half of the good days. Also remember that the weather forecasts you're looking at are for the valley. I believe the weather forecast for Killington is taken from Rutland Airport which is in the valley. With highs forecasted to be only 35 degrees there is a very good chance it will be all snow in the mountains

I hope this guy took my advice. 6" reported so far this morning at K & it's still snowing heavily. The forecast is for all snow through tomorrow evening.
