Advice on Solomon Rockettes

Hi! New to Epic. This is my first season's pass at Whistler and am totally loving it : )

Bought the 2011 Volkl Kenja's during last ski season as I was just starting to explore off piste terrain. Really enjoyed them but I am struggling a bit to be quick enough in the moguls. Maybe they are too stiff for me? I am 5'2" and 130lbs.

Anyhow, I am now wanting a powder ski as well and found a smoking deal on some Solomon Rockette demo skiis. Pros: liked the floating feeling in pow and they were easier to pivot than my Kenjas cuz it felt lke there was more edge to snow contact. Cons: tips were flapping at speed, the Rockettes skiid slower than the K2 Miss Conducts I demoed and liked on a non-powder day, they felt heavier and my legs were pretty fatigued but not sure if this was the extra 1lb weight of ski compared to the Kenja - or the rental binding or the variable powder conditions.

Just wondering if anyone can tell me if the Solomon Rockettes will be "good enough" as it will only be used on powder days - or is it worth it to spend the extra money and buy something like the Blizzard Black Pearl? Can anyone comment on how these skiis compare?

Oops! I meant to ask how the Rockettes compare with the Blizzard Sambas.

And since I liked the K2 Miss Conducts, maybe I should consider the K2 Miss Directed as well?

BTW, I tried the Solomon Geishas last season and hated them - go figure.
