Anyone know the edges angles for Kastle MX83?

My new to me Kastle MX83 183cm "slightly used" demo skis have arrived and are in need of an edge sharpening so I need to know the factory edge angles. I could phone the Western Canada rep who sold me the skis but sometimes the rep has too many ski stats in his/her head so sometimes doesn't know the actual edge angles of every model.

Any help is appreciated.

1/2.  I generally go, though, with 1/3 as that's what I have in my tune kit.

One of the ski techs at the shop where I work part time thought it was 1/2, but we carry the Kastle LX but not the MX, thus I was looking for some confirmation, thanks.

BTW I have a 89 (1 degree) file/diamond stone holder and a Swix 0 to 6 degree adjustable holder so I will go with factory settings.

Edge angles are set to the skier's preference and not the ski.  The ski doesn't care.  Most manufacturers put an edge angle on them because most skiers don't care or want to bother.  It's provided as a service.  This is also why race skis don't usually have a tune on them.  Lets the racer pick what they want right from the start.

1/3 is probably the best all around setting.  It isn't "too aggressive" as some will say.  Edge angles can't make the skis aggressive.  Only a skier can do that.

i put 1/3 on everything to include my 8 y/o grandson's.

Have fun,

Ken
