Volkl Supersport Allstar

The 2007 ti's.  One of my favorite groomer skis of all time.  So stable and just wants to do medium and long carve turns at speed all day.  Unfortunately already 6-7 years old.  So, if one were to replace this ski with something new, what would be similar?  RTM?  Head SS?  I'm sure there are others, just not sure.

Bueller? Bueller?  Anyone?

I do most of my skiing in the midwest, with 2 trips out west a year.  Out west I, generally rent boards based on the conditions though.

Can't speak from personal experience, but Dynastar Course Ti, Nordica FireArrow, and Rossi Pursuit get mentioned when someone is looking for that kind of ski.  Also Head Supershapes.

RTM is NOT the same ski -- rockered and more agreeable and versatile w/corresponding loss of precision and "guts".

Very good response. Having skied all those skis pretty extensively, personally I wouldn't put the Pursuit on the same pedestal as the Supershapes, Course Ti or FA 84.

That's just me though.......

Now that I have a bunch of hill time on them,,,I don't see anything wrong with my Kastle RX's.

The only fault I find with them is that they are too easy to ski and they let me ski from positions that my race boards would never tolerate.

In a weird way they allow sloppy skiing but boy, do they ever work well when you give them the gas.

Someone still needs to explain to me why I need a ski wider than 70mm for consolidated snow.

The feel of a sharp edge right under my foot is right up there with sex and a well carved jibe.

Try'em.

I skiied 5 Stars, Six Stars and Platinums...all great skis at the time.

Broke my Platinums in half when I was hit from behind.

The RX's are right up your alley if you like the Allstars.
