Replacement Liners - why?

Thread Starter

Why is it that some people end up using replacement liners (Intuitions and the like) as a fix for cold feet? Assuming that the shell is the correct size, What is it that the replacement liner does better than the 'stock' liner does. I'm looking at getting a set of Intuitions and when I compare them to the stock liner - the stock liner (Tecnica) appears to be much more rigid and solid construction than the foam construction of the Intuitions. This alone may account for the increased comfort or fit - but at the expense of durability?

Just asking.

Thanks

intuitions are warmer,  its the stuff its made from

durability is about the same at 100-200 days for any liner.
