Where to demo in Europe?

Hi,

I am looking to demo/test some skis next fall/winter (2013/2014), but where in European Alps can I do that? I know of two possibilities in Zermatt and Sölden. The problem is: in Zermatt they don't have all the skis I want to ride and in Sölden it's so early in the season (mid November, on the glacier) that snow conditions probably won't allow me to test the powder and off-piste features of the skis (amongst others Blizzard Brahma, Magnum 8.5 TI, Rossignog Experience 88, Nordica Steadfast, Salomon Enduro XT850, Völkl Kendo and for my girlfriend Völkl Kenja, Rossignol Temptation 88, Blizzard Viva 8.0, Nordica Hell's Belles, Elan Zeal, Salomon Rockette 90).

Any other options, preferably a bit later in the season (i.e. Christmas - late February)? I don't think any one shop holds these skis, but if any-one know a shop or two that holds a number of the models mentioned above, I'm game. Doesn't really matter what country or resort, as long as they have the skis, mountains and snow.

Thanks

Well, yesterday there was a Nordica stand at my "home" hill with a bucnh of skis to test.

Thing is, many "test tours" aren't as highly advertised as they should by their own firms...

Best bet is to get acquainted with a shop which does and keep track of all possibilites through them...

That's tough from where I am located (The Netherlands: no mountains, no snow). Shops in the Alpes keep telling me that they cannot give me a list of which models they have for testing or just rental. Very annoying.

Don't know about your particular models, but two of the better shops I know of that would provide you a better chance would be Jennewein in St. Anton and Sport Conrad in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. There are no doubt more, those are just two I know of.
