Sochi 2014 looking for Volunteers in Alpine Skiing

While a great majority of volunteer positions have already been selected for the 2014 Olympic Winter Games in Sochi, the Organising Committee is still looking for volunteers for the discipline of Alpine Skiing. If you are a fan of ski racing and a good skier, this is your chance – apply now and become part of Sochi 2014.

So far, over 160,000 applications have been received by the Organisers of the 2014 Games and more than 80% have already been taken on board.

The training programme for the Olympic volunteers is one of the Sochi 2014 Organising Committee’s biggest projects. An estimated 25,000 volunteers will be involved during the Games in more than 20 areas of activity, from meeting delegations at the airport to helping organise the Closing Ceremony. In the 2012/13 season, 5,000 of them will acquire some first work experience at the Test Events being organised with the support of the Sochi 2014 Organising Committee.

The deadline is March 1st. Anyone going or interested?

Anyone know if you get a choice of where you are or what's involved?

Who's done volunteering at an Olympic Alpine event before such as Salt Lake?
