Taos Conditions

Looking at a trip to Taos mid-March. What kind of snow year have they had so far?
I realize that may have no bearing on conditions a month from now, but I'd be a lot more comfortable pulling the trigger knowing its been good up to now.

8" fresh today with more on the way.  https://www.facebook.com/taosskivalley

The base today is 52" and in good shape...another reason to discard the "70 inch rule" that somehow lingers.  The mountain is skiing really well with nearly everything open.

By mid March temps may rise but more snow falls so you ought to be in good shape.  It is a fantastic place to ski anytime but spring is often wonderful.

I have seen it cold and snowy in March so enjoy whatever you get and don't be afraid to ask a local to show you some hidden spots, there are many.

Pull the trigger.
