Good men's Low-calf boot.

Hi,

I'm an on piste/off piste advanced skier, comfortable on most black diamond runs  and a few double blacks skiing on a pair of Rossi S3s.  It's time for new boots and I've got a boot fitting challenge.  I have low calves.  Larger than average calves (not huge) that extend down the back of my leg further than I believe most men.  Right now I'm skiing on ground-to-the-hilt Daleboots, they're old and a bit sloppy, and I'd like something a little more up to date that don't need the extensive grinding to work.  Any recommendations for a brand and model of boot targeted to people with my problem?

*** best to find something that holds the foot in place, and lower the calf as needed ***

1)  smaller sized boots, will be lower on the leg (and hold your foot in place better too)

2)  you can lower a cuff easly

3)  small heel lift will put less of your calf in the boot.  Nice to try, as they are removeable,

4)  technica cohise are a bit lower cut with only the one upper buckle and powerstrap
