Kids in 2 Days of Lessons - 2 days straight, or break it up?

Heading to Copper end of next week.  4-5 days of skiing and kids are going to ski school for 2 of those days.  For those that instruct kids, do you see better progress if they're in two consecutive days, or if it's broken up with a day to practice what they learn?  My inclination is the former, but looking for some pro opinions.

If it matters, they are 8 and 10 y.o. and ski are somewhere between Copper's level 3 and 4 (below).  What I'm looking for them to get out of the experience is more consistent parallel turns, more consistent finishing of turns and some skills to deal with steeper terrain/variable conditions, that will all hopefully lead to more confidence and the side benefit of Dad getting to spend more time on blues and blacks.

Level 3 - Greens & Blues
Confident on green runs and developing on blue runs.(Intermediate)

Level 4 - Blues
Blue slopes.Level 4 Blue Slopes Developing & exploring blue runs & snow conditions. (Intermediate)

Practice is the most crucial aspect of learning.

Ask the coach at the end of day one. He will have the best understanding of their specific needs relative to their current movements and desires.

If you must decide in advance, I vote day 2 & 3. This gives a day to reacquaint themselves with environment, maybe start late and/or end early. If you have their report cards from last year revisit them! Two days of active structured skiing development. One day to play & practice with family. The last day to either be dead beat tired physically or mentally (or both) which may allow for a final wrap on the play & practice session.

Have a great trip!

Thanks Bryan.  They've got 3 days on snow this season, so not starting from scratch, but I like your idea of waiting until day 2, if for nothing else than to have a good family ski day with no constraints before shipping them off.
