Hotronics in a plug boot with lace-up liners - advice sought

I have Nordica Aggressor 150's and love the fit and performance, but my toes get cooooold.

Would it work to put Hotronics in them?  I am particularly worried about two things:

1) how much room will they take up, and will the cable be a problem under my foot? I have custom insoles.

2) will the cable wear out from inserting and removing the liner each time?  It is very tight to get the liner into and out of the shell with my foot in it. I worry about running the cable out the heel, where most of the friction is.

Thanks

properly installed, they do not take up any room.

for lace up liners the cable should be run out through the arch and above the ankle bones.
