I'll be sticking to the northeast again for my winter vacation.
Last week of February or first week of March.
The great news is I have 9 days off so I can go to places I normally couldn't go because of distance and time restrictions over normal and even longer weekends.
Driving from southern New York.
I'm thinking Jay Peak, Sugarloaf, Mont Tremblant and / or Le Massiff.
Which of these places would help me get over the fact that I couldn't afford to go out west again quick?
Would you like to add any other places I may have overlooked?
Ideally I'd like to experience real and fresh snow and get away from that ski edge over ice scraping sound that many of us northeasterners know too well and loathe!
I'll be saving $700 on airfare and that will be enough to do anything else in the east by car.
