Numbness

Hello all,
I started skiing when I was fifteen. The boots I used during this thirty eight years?: Trappeur Kiily,Lange XL1000,Lange XLR,Lange Pink Panther,Atomic with conformable liners made at Surefoot, tecnica Diablo.
Every run I did during this years I had to unbuckle the boot because my feet get numb.
Any thoughts?.Just wanted to share...
Cheers!

cold feet----usually poor circulation or impinged nerve----

better circulation----don't tighten the buckles on the top of; the foot---tighten the ankle buckle till it is too tight then back off a little till comfortable

pinched nerves----don/t tighten the buckles on the top of the foot---tighten the ankle buckle till it is too tight then back off till confortable.

more than likely, if your feet come back with the buckles loose this is a circulation problem---not a boot width problem.

if boots are too big most of us will tighten up on the foot trying to hold it still to have control.which doesn't work because your feet go to sleep

sure does not feel good.

tightening the ankle will not put your feet to sleep and will still hold your feet still in the shell.

read the wiki at the start of Ask the Boot Guys---"Which boot will work for me", then shell size your boots as suggested in that article

if they are too big you will over tighten them trying to gain control,

Thank you Mike.
Question: In the case of my Tecnica Diablo the ankle buckle is the second starting from the toe or the third?

I guess mine is a poor circulation problem...

the ankle buckle is the 3rd from the toe of the boot.
