One of our techs, Gregg, has got the new Black Diamond Ascension skins down to a science, so we thought we'd take some pictures of him in action to make it a little easier for first-time climbing skin buyers to get them dialed into their skis.

How to: trim climbing skins

Good presentation, too bad I did mine last week, could have used the tips.

nice writeup. I had to setup two climbing rigs with Ascension skins for my MX98 and BMX128 boards that I've brought with me to Gulmarg. I looked at the Black Diamond video on how to do so, and wasn't confident that I could actually trim them to width using the move the skins over technique, so I bought a G3 trimimer (about $3.50) and used it. It works perfectly, and no fuss or muss about whether the skins are centered or correctly offset.
