Binding mount and boot question

Thread Starter
Hey guys/gals. I've been lurking for a while, and this is my first post here. I'm in the market for new skis/bindings/boots. I've been looking at some used skis with the intention to mount FKS bindings. I planned to get skis/bindings this year and boots on the off season. I would mount the used skis for my current boots making it the second mount on the skis. I started thinking about the possibility that new boots could have a BSL outside the adjustment range of the FKS, and my skis would already have been mounted twice.

So should I:
A) Not worry about it because most likely new boots will have a BSL similar to current and the FKS will be able to adjust to fit.
B) Get new boots first or get fit and find boots that will work and make sure the bindings will work with both sets
C) If I can't wait to get skis until after getting boots, stick to new skis that have never been mounted so I don't have to worry about it.
D) Get bindings with a larger amount of BSL adjustment and mount them in the middle of their range.

If it helps I wear a size 10 shoe. My current boots are Salomon circa 2000ish with a BSL of 315 and may be a bit big.

Thanks for the input! I ask now as I am watching some used skis on eBay and don't want to make a costly mistake.

Since no one has answered this, I'll give my opinion:

First choice (B), might as well start at the start instead of buying skis to mount to an old boot only to then need to remount.

second choice (D), mont them a little smaller than your BSL, your new boot will most likely be smaller if you buy the correct size.

(A) and (C) are non-starters. A new ski will still need a remount, most likely, and your boot should be smaller than 315 if you wear a 10 street shoe.
