Eleven. All bluebird day trips to Squaw Valley. One suffered an unexpected high winds that closed the upper mountain. Eerie to ride the Funitel up to a ghost town, with down the Mountain Run the only option. Got acquainted with Snow King that day. Otherwise, temps from the mid 20s to high 40s, light breezes, and sun. Most crowded was Friday during the snow week break before Presidents weekend. Parking lot two-thirds full, hills alive with the sound of children, a couple of five-minute lift lines. A great Christmas snowpack (ten feet on the upper mountain) dwindled only by a couple of feet through a fine run of mild days and cold nights.
Last season, 0. This season, 11 and counting, and it's only early March with the weather acting more like winter again.
