Bonafides - All sold Out.

My buddy bought the last pair of 2014 180 cm Bonafides from a local shop here in the Seattle area this morning. He tried them at Crystal, yesterday, loved them, and then made several phone calls to land whart appears to have been the last pair in the Seattle area. Hello? Blizzard? Are you there? A cursory search of a dozen sites this morning seems to support this scarcity of supply. Does anyone know what is up with Blizzard's supply chain and production?

Try skis.com. They have them

Skis.com does not even list them.

I just went to Skis.com and typed in Blizzard and a whole list of models came up. From there went to Bonafied which it seems is sold out now, but other models are in stock.

Expect a mid-season roll-out of next years, this is great for two reasons, it means no need to offer discounts and an extra couple of months to move the product. Blizzard, or more specifically, the Tecnica group, knows what's up.

^^^ that's the Bodacious, a very different creature from the Bonafide.

Start Haus received some 2014 Bones within the last week or so. Don't know if there are any left in stock but it can't hurt to pay a visit to their site or give 'em a call.

There's a minty pair for sale right here.  And I am pretty sure another pair is about to come up too.

Oops. Sorry

Next year's Bones most certainly can be found in the greater Seattle area. And what Whiteroom said.

I got mine 2 1/2 weeks ago but it took a lot of work. There was nothing available online or in Truckee, but I got the last pair from a shop in Incline Village. Very, very popular ski for the past 2 seasons.

The store manager where I bought my skis indicated they were running low on stock before the season even started and he attempted to buy every pair he could from the warehouse. This was after a substantial increase in his order from the year before. He said Blizzard's production run was a combination of shop orders and a 3% over-run. The 3% went away in a hurry.

Have you tried Blizzard directly?

The Mt Bachelor ski shop has them and also Peak Sports in Corvallis. Don't know if they ship or if you would have to pick them up. Check out Peak Sports first you will be pleasantly surprised.

Blizzard does not sell skis direct. Like most large brands if you purchase through the website it goes through Shopatron. The order is sent out to a network of independent retailers who then chose to fill the order out of their stock, or not.

I have a pair of 180's that I will be parting with shortly. They're freshly, ground, tuned and ready for snow. They are mounted with mean green pivot 14's to a 298bsl. I will be posting an ad shortly.

Interesting....... nearly seems a bit deceptive given the way the page is branded and logoed.

Before we completely give in to hysteria, they have plenty here: http://www.northernski.com/#!/~/product/category=2729511&id=18183750. And as said, 2014's on the way. Chill.

Was not going conspiratorial at all, as my comment was in response to wasatchback in post #15 and the use of Shopatron by Blizzard and other when they give the appearance of selling directly. 'Nuff said....go ski!

Yes, Bones 180 are on the wall at a couple of local shops here too....unsure of the year, like the year matters. biggrin.gif
