Come Heli ski the Chugach range in Valdez, AK
ASG provides 8 runs per day vs. most other operations' 6 runs. They plan for five out of seven days for hell skiing. On days that we can not fly there are ample snowmobilers happy to give skiers boosts up the mountain. Last year I walked up on the plateau with my skis and a six pack and got 6 or 7 boosts up for about 2,000 vert feet runs each and nobody took my six pack. Skied all day for nothing! Dinner is open as there are multiple restaurants in Valdez and various options at Thompson Pass pits. ASG may fly some fresh Tuna up from San Diego as well for an evening dinner? I think if you compare this is a pretty good deal! Of course we are not talking luxury lodging and gourmet meals but kinda hard to beat the skiing!?

Maybe more at Thompson Pass to make up for it? Last time I was at Valdez, in the summer time tourist high season, the eating options were very limited! Can imagine what winter options are like...
The terrain does look mouth watering though!
HOBBs is not a factor. ASG tries to get you eight runs per day which is more than most operations. We plan 5 out of the seven days will be flyable, mother nature may have other plans? There are lots of slednecks who are more than happy to give you boosts up the hill anytime you feel you need more vert and I have never had one of them ask me for money and they wouldn't even accept beer! They are just enjoying the trip. Last year I got 6 boosts up, one after another and probably got 2,000 to 3,000 vert on each run!
