Durable Glove Recommendations?

Thread Starter
I've bought and returned countless Dakine-level gloves (I.e. $30 on sale) to REI and am ready to make an investment in a quality pair that will last. I always seem to rip my gloves in the seam between fingers, especially when skiing out in the trees. I prefer gloves vs mittens because I often grab my trail map on the lifts. I'd like to spend no more than $120. Any recommendations?

Thanks!

These: http://www.carhartt.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10101&storeId=10051&productId=164211&langId=-1&categoryId=10904&top_category=10901&quickView=false

Only $11 and these are starting their 3rd winter season with 2 summers at Hood also. Just apply Hestra leather balm once or twice a season and they're good to go.
