the nordica transfire r3 ski boot has a different flex index than my rossignol boots. i have no idea how they would "compare" (i know i can't compare ratings of different brands but just a general idea of how stiff each is) my rossi's are a 50 and i am going to get a second pair (the womens nordica transfire r3 boot) but the rating on them says a 12.0 stiffness so how does this compare to the 50 flex of my rossi's? would they be more of a 70 or 80 or what?
thanks :-)

You can't compare.  You have to try them on and test the flex for yourself.

different people, due to calf size, leg length, ankle fexibility, can flex boots differently.   I can flex a salomo 130 well, but hardly move a lange 110.

best to try them on first.   Also shape is WAY more important then flex.  plus boots can be made softer as needed.

but yes,  70-80 ish
