Need recommendations for all mountain ski for advanced skier - Western Washington

I'm 5'10 170. I'm no longer taking crazy risks skiing and I'm unlikely to go out of bounds much and don't spend tons of time on double blacks. I'd love to be able to ski just about anywhere (granted mostly in bounds) and have 10+ year old skis I never got much use out of because I favored my board. I don't buy gear that often and went to REI to get my now obsolete Dynastar's tuned. The salesperson recommended Rossignal E98 to me. I'd also read a recommendation for Salomon Twenty Twelve's.  I would like something I can get a decent deal on which doesn't look to be the case for the E98's. The second salesperson I spoke to said the E98 is definitely more of an out-of-bounds ski and that I'd be better off sticking closer to 90mm under boot.

I'm willing to pay up if there are 2013 models that are game changers but otherwise, I'm happy with a 90% solution to save some cash. I noticed at least online that the E98's are a good $200 more than Twenty Twelves and maybe the skis are apples to oranges. Anyone recommend a great jack of all trades for my area ?

Thanks

I suppose I shouldn't call myself advanced. Maybe former agressive intermediate+ skiier. Never had great form, I could just manage most stuff but to be honest, probably bought gear in the past that was ahead of my ability (just didn't admit it to myself). So something that's an excellent value that'll ski anywhere but is at least forgiving enough for a non-expert is probably great. Last year's stuff totally acceptable if it's as good.
