We took our 5 month old baby to Grand Lake for a few days from Denver and then drove through Rocky Mt. National Park's trail ridge road  -- highest contiguous paved road in continental U.S.   He was a little groggy and just had to make sure he drank plenty of liquids. At 7-8 months he spent several days at Loveland ski area, at about 11,000 feet without problem.  One of your biggest concerns was his ear infections but it didn't seem too bad.  You should be fine.

I appreciate your input...we'll be coming from around 2500 ft elevation so it's sounding like it will fine we'll check with our doctor also...
