Last year I bought a pair of Head Monster IM 88, ski'd about 20 days in Colorado. I loved the skis. This year after only 2 days out on some mellow groomers the ski's top sheet started peeling and chipping in about 4 spots -- I was worried that the topsheet issue would get worse and worse so I sent them back after contacting the shop where I bought them. Head said that the peels were due to ski crossing and they could not honor the warranty.
All other ski's I've had for 10+ years without this type of damage. Does this look like a warranty issue that should be covered? I'm thinking about contacting Head directly and possibly pursuing it to small claims court.
