The guy I'm staying with here at Vail is renting these and he went in early in the afternnon Sat. so I was curious about these skis and adjusted the bindings and skied about 8 runs (groomers) on them. I really liked the way they initiated the turn and I felt like the tip really engaged on these skis and allowed you to start the turn cleanly and early.
Best way I can articulate what I was feeling. On small scrapy bumps they did not hold as well as the Head Peak 90"s that I was skiing that day that I own. But for carving on the groomed I think its a great ski that hooks up very nicely and is a great carver.
Other Head skis I have skied and owned are The Peak 90, SS Speeds, and Titans. This ski at 177 cm compared to the Titans at 177 cm is way easier to ski IMHO.
Curious what others have to say about the Revs and if they feel the sidecut design on the ski Head introduced makes a meaningful difference.
I'm 58 (next week) 168 lb. 6 ft.
Skiing - 47 yrs (doesn't seem possible!)
Decent skier on groomed , passsable in bumps, no trees, OK powder skier.
