So, my daughter Daria is spending the winter at Alta working at Goldminer's Daughter Lodge. A couple of former and occasional employees are starting up a ski building business in Oregon called Deviation. They have been at Alta with some prototypes for friends and others to try. Daria tried their skis in powder and loved them (that is her picture ontheir facebook page with bamboo poles and powder up to her neck). So she is purchasing a pair that they will be custom making for her -- I don't know if this will be their business model, but she has her choice of width, length and graphics. She has all the specs picked out except for graphics (she is getting 115 underfoot and 172cm long). She asked me for my opinion and I thought that I would toss this out to the forum. Have at it!
