These is a lot of nonsense being spewed about gear on this thread.

 

Ignore it and ski what you have.

I really appreciate all of the input. After re reading this thread a few times I don't see even one bad piece of advice. Every one is correct. None is a magic bullet. I just have to individually put them into play at the right time, ability level, climate, snow type and conditions. I've done the process before with motorcycle racing, nordic skiing and golf. 100 more days on snow should to do it. yahoo.gif
