We interrupt the Epic  acquisition thread to bring this great offer to you! I am once again joining Team in Training to raise money and do great things for my personal health.  For the summer season (training starts beginning of February) I will be training for America's Most Beautiful Bike ride.  I'm not sure yet whether I'll do the 72 or 100 mile ride.  I'm offering the following:

$10 donation - 1 raffle ticket for the two SB lift tickets

$30 donation - 5 raffle tickets

$50 donation - 10 raffle tickets

All proceeds go to the Leukemia Lymphoma society.  If interested, please PM me.

FYI, in cas you're not aware.....Sugar Bowl offers free ski/snowboard group lessons (beginner through advanced) on general admission days (weekdays/ from approx mid March everyday).  These are really good lessons speaking from experience.

Slightly revised

I am raffling off 2 lift tickets for Sugar Bowl ski resort good any Sunday-Friday (excluding holiday weekends). Sugar Bowl offers free rental equipment and lessons for skiing/snowboarding on weekdays and late season weekends (after March 15). All proceeds benefit Team in Training/the Leukemia Lymphoma Society and help me to fund triathlon training for the summer/fall season.

For $10, you receive 1 raffle ticket (for the pair of lift tickets). For $30, you receive 5 raffle tickets. For $50, you receive 10 chances to win. The funds can be submitted directly via credit card to the following web site:

Originally, I had planned to sign up for America's Most Beautiful Bike ride however reality (otherwise known as my husband) clarified that I don't have sufficient time to train as I have OCD where skiing is concerned.  Accordingly, the funds I am raising (though still going to LLS) will help to cover training related to an as yet unspecified triathlon event (unspecified because the choices available for Fall season have not been finalized yet).

Though I won't be at Sugar Bowl this week due to ski buddy pass constraints, I will find someone to independently draw one of the current 17 raffle tickets as the winner of the 2 SB lift tickets ($160 value).  I will probably withdraw my husband's tickets, leaving a total of 14 tickets to choose the winner from.  If not interested in SB tickets, you can also simply donate to the web site noted above.  Thanks in advance for any help you are able to provide.  By doing so, you not only take action to fight the course of blood cancer and its brutal effects on patients and their families, you assist me in my personal fight against the effects of Parkinson's Disease by way of triathlon training.
