Rossignol Radical 9 SL Slantnose TI TPX height

Hello everyone,

I have a question for you. I intend to buy this pair of skis
http://www.rossignol.com/IV/GR/radical-9sl-slantnose-ti-tpx_RA2BN02_product_alpine-men-skis-race.html

My question is what size should I choose... 1.66 or 1.71 ??

I am an advanced--->expert skier, I used to race as a teenager and now on my 31years I ski quite aggressive on piste.
I weight 105kgr and I am 1.77m tall...

Thank you in advance!

Hi, Iraklis.

Welcome to EpicSki.

I have a pair of those skis in the 166 and I ski them quite a bit (I love them).  You outweigh me by 16-18 kilos.

In would say that the 171 would be the better choice given your weight.  I have a friend who weighs about 10kgr less than me and he's skiing the 171 (but he's a far better racer than I am).  We've swapped with each other and we each like the other's skis essentially as well as our own.  I just think at your weight the 171 would be a better choice.

Good luck with the decision.  Either way, you're going to have a great ski.

Hi Bob,

Its nice I've found this forum, it really has a lot of info!
I just ordered the 1,71 size and I think its the right decision... I really too believe that I will enjoy this pair even I don't race anymore!

Thank you for your answer and I hope I will contribute to this forum in the future!
