Going Skiing Sunday for first time since ACL Tear last December

Thread Starter

I am pumped to finally ski again.  My reconstruction was done January 21 last year.  My doctor recommends me to wear my knee brace for the first season.   I was wondering if anyone has skied with a brace. The woman who fit me for my brace said that it should be put on directly to my skin.  My concern is that I like to wear under armour cold gear to keep warm.  Any suggestions?  Suppose to be pretty cold Sunday.

Thanks

listen to your doctor but No brace for me.  The brace will fit better next to skin but you can try it with some a tight base layer that is more like a compression layer/tight.
